We post only Official clan wars. The clan war is official only if both teams agree to it.There is no moving or killing before the last member of the each team enter the game. If the ping of one or a few players is over 100 the game will be classified as jff. Once the game started there will be no changing the rules of the game!

BASIC RULES: No Ap, No Op, basic weapons only and no Qi
NO RULES: Any armor, any weapons and any Qi

The clan was formed in December 2011 by Bretouc and Redxox and was originally known as D.E.D - Dads Extremely Dangerous. The inspiration for the name came from the 2010 film RED, starring Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman.

Most of DED met and grew up under the serene blue skies and sleek palm trees of Monkey Island, and now this is our adopted home and you will often see us running on the sandy beach brandishing our weapons.

From the outset our goal was not like most other clans - to be the best, the most skilled - but to enjoy the game and above all have fun - this is what makes us unique. We think because of this we remain strong together, along the way we have increased in number, improved our skills and turned a clan into a family. We have faced difficulties, yet recovered like any other family should do.

We now have players from across the globe who have remained incredibly loyal, and have established ourselves as a well respected team within the Uberstrike community.

Only official clan wars will be posted in this section of the thread. Clan wars are official only when they are approved by the leader or an officer of DED before the match starts. Clan wars which are not approved will be classified as JFF (Just For Fun NOT Just for Facebook).

A great article 'How to Clan War with Class' by Tweex can be found here and it is definately worth a read.

Rules
Rules will be determined and agreed prior to the match, they will be either:
• Basics - No OP - basics weapons only | No AP | Quick Items Not Allowed
• No Rules - Any Weapons | Any Armour | Quick Items Allowed

Matches will be played in a Team Death Match - 10mins / 50 kills

No moving or killing before all players have entered the game. Once the last person has entered, the game starts.

If any players has high ping of over 80ms or if lag is affecting the play, that game will be classified as JFF, unless both teams agree to play on. Please note JFF means just for fun and results should not be posted. It does not mean 'Just For Facebook'.

No changing the rules once the game has started. If any of the rules are broken by the opponents or someone from their team rage quits, then the match will be handed over to DED as a 50-0 win.

Our rules of conduct are simple:

Treat others as you expect to be treated yourself!

We expect our clan members to:

Be active - If, for any reason, you become inactive please let the leader or an officer know in advance. Periods of inactivity of over 30 days without giving notice will result in being kicked from the clan.
Be respectful - To other players in-game and on the forum
Be loyal - Don't clan hop.

We recruit by invitation only.
If you want to join DED, feel free to ask any member about the current spaces empty in the clan but keeping in mind not to ask again and again. Respecting their answer is the best way to go.

If you are a player that possesses the qualities we are looking for, then you can be assured that we will notice you. Remember: It isn't just your skills but also the way you act in-game and towards others which can affect your chances of joining DED.

Recruitment process:
1. Current members will nominate the potential recruits.
2. They will then be shortlisted.
3. Then the clan members will again vote to choose the best possible recruit.

Please be patient this process may take some time.

History

[R3duX] was conceptualized by Remilia Scarlet and Eterna|Fubuki during May 2014 and was founded as a definite clan by ~Skye. on the 1st of June. The clan almost prematurely disbanded after experiencing a mass of hardship but remained alive due to the devotion of its members to fulfil an exclusive promise. Originally a private clan created in remembrance and to commemorate times long past, R3duX aims to restore and provide an easygoing, amiable environment for all our members and a means to continue enjoying uberstrike despite its ups and downs.

About our Members!

So this is the place where our clan cards, member info and everything else would be, except we're a pretty shy bunch and don't know what to (or would rather not) say about ourselves. Most of us met ingame rather than the forums, and noone uses the forum (much) except for the Leader and Co-Leader. Even our steam group is private. Our members probably haven't previously been in any flashy clans so we haven't much to show off in this particular section aside from making an effort to write a paragraph to try and fill it.

Yeah, lets try and fill this section anyway haha. We generally all play public games and hardly any private games. We play in a variety of maps, you'll see us everywhere except Cuberstrike, SuperPrism Reactor and Apex Twin. The Leader and Co-Leader prefer using tight, accurate weapons and dislike splash damage and spring grenades. We're not the most insanely skilled but we're always trying ways to get better at the game through observation, experimentation and theory, and help our members that are willing to learn although we mostly only play for fun.

About our Recruitment~

Our recruitment (or lack thereof) is membership by invite only. There is no ongoing aspiring effort towards recruitment - having as many members as possible or a full clan is not a necessity for us, though what we do look for in recruits is sportsmanship and a friendly attitude. It also helps if our members know you well as we strive to keep an air of familiarity within the clan and its members. Being skilled isn't a priority, nor is it a requirement. Please note that we aren't an overly competitive clan but more like a group of friends for the most part. We'd feel more comfortable around someone with a kind character who doesn't take the game exceedingly seriously rather than someone who feels the need to insult other players or constantly blame lag every time after a death.

Feel free to follow us ingame or express an interest in joining, but do keep in mind it might take a while for us to accept new members.
